Visiting Fellowship in Dermatology at The Mount Sinai Hospital

J-1 sponsorship in Dermatology

Visiting physicians are invited to take part in the regular didactic sessions of the Department of Dermatology.  In addition, they will have specific lectures on dermatology.

Grand Rounds — 1-2 hours per week; lectures in didactic sessions —5 hours per week, Journal Club — 1 hour per week; evening citywide lectures — 2-4 hours per week.

They will participate in a research study which focuses on various skin diseases like psoriasis, eczema and vitiligo. The expectation is at least one manuscript to be published.

The participation is solely for the purposes of observation, consultation, teaching, or research.

Duration: 6 months to 2 years

The stay at Mount Sinai will be funded by the visiting physician sponsor for the entirety of the program and the participant will not receive any monetary support from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai or any other entities.
