We are regionally accredited by Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104; 215-662-5606. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
We are also accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the Association of American Medical Colleges and the American Medical Association. Our teaching hospitals are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health care Organizations.
All of our educational programs have been approved by the necessary governmental, academic, and professional bodies. These include the Board of Regents of the State of New York, the State Education Department, the Board of Higher Education of the City of New York, Council on Education for Public Health, American Board of Genetic Counseling, and medical specialty boards and professional societies.
