Dr. Alexandra Golant is the Medical Director of the Dermatology Faculty Practice and the Program Director of the Dermatology Residency Program at Mount Sinai. After completing her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, Dr. Golant received her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her medical internship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and then returned to Mount Sinai to complete her dermatology residency, serving as Chief Resident in her final year.

Dr. Golant seeks to provide personalized and cutting-edge care to patients of all ages. She is an expert on atopic dermatitis (eczema), a subject on which she leads clinical research and lectures both nationally and internationally. Her other areas of clinical interest include psoriasis, acne, rosacea, and skin cancer detection, as well as cosmetic treatments such as Botox and filler.
