Angelica is currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience in the laboratory of Dr. Eric Nestler. Her work in the Nestler lab focuses in using mouse models to elucidate 1) cell-specific gene expression patterns encoding depressive-like behaviors associated with enrichment-loss, and 2) molecular mechanisms underlying incubation of cocaine seeking after voluntary abstinence.
