ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and Related Disorders throughout the Lifespan
Dr. Krone has been a researcher with the Clinical and Translational Studies Program of the Department of Psychiatry, and with the Center for Excellence for ADHD and Related Disorders at Mount Sinai since 2008. As the Licensed Clinical Psychologist for the program, Dr. Krone researches cognitive and affective processes and their relationship to functional impairment in association with ADHD and its many comorbidities. Dr. Krone has participated in dozens of federally funded, foundation funded, and industry funded studies that have resulted in publications, and in presentations at national and international professional conferences. These works span neurobiological mechanisms in health and disease states, genetic contributions to development of pathological processes, development of objective measures of states and traits associated with illness, mechanisms of prevention, and response to treatment.
