Forsh, MD graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans and received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Following medical school, he completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at our very own Mt. Sinai Hospital and was recognized as a finalist for Resident of the Year during his training. Following residency, he completed his Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship training at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA-one of the premiere Level I trauma centers in the country.
Dr. Forsh has a special interest in polytrauma, fracture care, nonunions, malunion/deformity, pelvic & acetabular surgery, as well as international trauma orthopaedics-he has served as a healthcare provider in Costa Rica, South Africa, and Liberia, West Africa.
