Genevieve Izzo, PhD

Dr. Genevieve Izzo is an Attending Psychologist at the Child and Family Institute at Mount Sinai Morningside and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Izzo specializes in cognitive and behavioral treatments for anxiety and related disorders, mood disorders, and emotional disorders. She uses traditional cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as mindfulness-based approaches, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), to best serve those with whom she works. Dr. Izzo works with youth and adults in her faculty practice.
