Dr. Kattan is a clinician and clinical researcher in the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute.  His research interests, funded in part by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, a division of the NIH, focus on diagnostic issues in food allergy and potential treatments for food allergy.  Dr. Kattan supervises 2 clinics per week in pediatric allergy during which time he sees patients with a wide variety of allergic disorders.  He is also involved in teaching fellows and residents.
