Dr. Jacob Levitt is a Clinical Professor and a Voluntary Attending of the Dermatology Departmet at Mount Sinai. Dr. Levitt's clinical interests are heavily influenced by his mentor, Dr. Mark Lebwohl, and include psoriasis and complicated dermatological problems.  In addition, Dr. Levitt has special expertise in head lice and scabies, autoimmune blistering disease, hidradenitis suppuritiva, pyoderma gangrenosum, and medical education.  Outside of the clinic, Dr. Levitt is former President of the Periodic Paralysis Association (www.periodicparalysis.org) and is a fourth degree black belt and instructor in Shotokan Karate.
