Jan Fune, MD, is an attending physician in the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Program of the Division of General Pediatrics and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. Dr. Fune studied Exercise Science at Rutgers University and received his MD from the University of Medicine & Health Sciences, St. Kitts. He completed his pediatric residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and his pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at Michigan State University/Helen Devos Children’s Hospital.  Dr. Fune focused on medical education and process improvement projects during his fellowship. His recent projects aimed to improve proper utilization of healthcare interpreters for Limited English Proficiency patients and reducing vital sign frequency.
