Jessica Simkins, MD, MPH is a Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at Mount Sinai West. She is a newborn hospitalist who attends high risk infant deliveries and cares for infants in the well-baby nursery.  Dr. Simkins is also a general pediatrician working with children in foster care at The Children's Village in Bronx, NY. She completed her medical school training at the University of Florida, her Masters in Public Health at Yale University, and her residency training at Washington University/St. Louis Children's Hospital. She is an active member of the national and local chapters of the American Academy of Pediatrics and participates in advocacy work at national, state, and local levels. Dr. Simkins focuses on early childhood development, emotional and physical trauma, mental wellness, breastfeeding and nutrition and healthy eating.
