Dr. Bucuvalas’ research focus aligns with on challenges faced by children and adolescent who seek and undergo the life-saving intervention of liver transplantation. His research efforts have driven by the challenges along the path of the patient to sustained heath including but not limited to wait list management, mitigation of complications, and ensuring long-term allograft health without complications of immunosuppression.
