
Joseph, Feldman, MD, FACEP is the Medical Director of Mount Sinai Doctors-Urgent Care. In this role, Dr. Feldman employs his experience in providing exceptional care and leadership to advance the Urgent Care practices. Working in conjunction with operations, human resources, and infrastructure, Dr. Feldman ensures the same high quality of care is delivered to Urgent Care patients that is known to patients across the Mount Sinai enterprise.
Dr. Feldman has had a distinguished clinical, academic, and research career prior to joining Mount Sinai. He served as the Founding Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine for the Seton Hall-Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and the Chairman of Emergency Services at the Hackensack University Medical Center at Pascack Valley Hospital. Dr. Feldman is the recipient of several peer-recognized awards including Academic Achievement Award at the NJ-ACEP 2017 Scientific Assembly, Emergency Medicine Health Grades Excellence Award at Hackensack UMC and Outstanding Physician of the Year Award from the NJ State Society of Physician Assistants.
Dr. Feldman received his medical degree from St. George University School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook. He completed his residency training in emergency medicine at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr Feldman is a New York Native and lives with his wife in New York City.
