DermatologyMarsha Gordon, MD, is Professor and Vice Chair of The Kimberly and Eric J. Waldman Department of Dermatology at The Mount Sinai Hospital. A graduate of The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the dermatology residency-training program at The Mount Sinai Hospital, Dr. Gordon practiced general dermatology for more than two decades prior to concentrating on cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Gordon has garnered acclaim in the dermatology community for her expertise in the use of fillers and botulinum toxin injections for rejuvenation of the mature face. During her academic career, she has mentored more than 70 medical students and residents, many of whom currently hold academic appointments in Departments of Dermatology.
A gifted teacher, Dr. Gordon is particularly proud of being selected as Teacher of the Year by residents on more than one occasion. She had received The Cullman Family Award for Excellence in Physician Communication four consecutive years. In spite of her busy cosmetic practice, Dr. Gordon is a very active member of the faculty and has served on numerous departmental and institutional committees.
