Mehul Bhatt, MD

Dr. Mehul Bhatt is the Associate Director of Micrographic & Reconstructive Surgery at The Kimberly and Eric J. Waldman Department of Dermatology of The Mount Sinai Health System. Dr. Bhatt is a board-certified dermatologist who received extensive training in the treatment of a variety of skin conditions. He is specializing in dermatologic oncology, Mohs, micrographic surgery, and cosmetic procedures. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Bhatt went on to obtain his medical degree from Harvard University. After spending his intern year at SUNY Upstate Medical University, he began his dermatology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Montefiore Medical Center. Immediately following his residency, Dr. Bhatt entered a one-year Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where he underwent additional training in the diagnosis and management of complex skin cancers, as well as advanced training on various cosmetic and laser procedures. Apart from his outstanding clinical and surgical skills, Dr. Bhatt is also an experienced researcher, with numerous publications, abstracts, and presentations.
