She received her medical degree from Mount Sinai, completed residency training at Yale, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Chung then completed her Nephrology fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell, and Glomerular Diseases fellowship at Columbia. Prior to joining Mount Sinai in 2017, she was a Nephrologist at Rogosin Institute/New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell. Her clinical interests include glomerular diseases (ex. lupus nephritis, IgA nephropathy, vasculitis, nephrotic syndrome, etc).
She is active in the education of fellows and housestaff, and has received numerous teaching awards, including the J James Smith Teaching Award by Cornell Medicine Housestaff, and Teaching Attending of the Year Award by Mount SInai Nephrology Fellows for three consecutive years.
