Research
Dr. Shah's clinical research is focused on the treatment of overactive bladder and pelvic organ prolapse (POP). An active clinical trial looking at long term outcomes with the use of biologic grafts as an alternative to vaginal mesh is currently in progress. Dr Shah is also interested in outpatient minimally invasive treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) using Bipolar Transurethral Resection of the Prostate and Laser Vaporization of Prostate. He and his team are also currently enrolling patients in a clinical trial for an outpatient, office-based procedure for the treatment of BPH.
