Yan Lai, M.D., M.P.H, F.A.S.A., C.B.A. is a board certified anesthesiologists specializing in regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine. Dr. Lai also holds joint appointment in the department of medical education and orthopedics. He is also the fellowship director for the regional anesthesiology and acute medicine program at Mount Sinai West & Morningside Hospitals, and an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the Icahn School of Medicine. He is a teaching faculty for medical ultrasound and ultrasound guided peripheral nerve blockade at national, regional, and local subspecialty conferences and professional societies. He has been a speaker at national meetings and has published research on regional anesthesia and pain management areas. He is a board examiner, academic leader, and an educator.
