At the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, we are translating breakthroughs in basic science and cutting-edge technology into more precise patient care, setting the standard for advanced educational, clinical, and research facilities in the United States.
We are an integral part of one of New York City’s largest health systems, which is one of the largest and most diverse in the United States. The Mount Sinai Health System includes seven hospitals, numerous laboratories, centers, and institutes. It also encompasses our Mount Sinai Doctors Faculty Practice, and Mount Sinai Doctors (our network of medical practices), throughout all five boroughs and Long Island.
Our School shares a four-block campus with The Mount Sinai Hospital, which sits between East Harlem, a predominantly low income community, and Yorkville, one of the nation's most affluent communities. Our patient population spans a broad mix of cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic diversity, and we deliver exceptional care across all medical disciplines.
