Cancer Clinical Trials Office

Associate Director for Clinical Trials Infrastructure: Marshall R. Posner, MD
Associate Medical Director: Ajai Chari, MD
Director of Clinical Research Operations: Rosemarie Gagliardi

The Tisch Cancer Institute’s Cancer Clinical Trials Office (CCTO) provides the infrastructure and resources required to support patient-based cancer research for the Tisch Cancer Institute in the Icahn School of Medicine.

The CCTO serves as the central location for cancer protocols and provides a centralized database of protocol-specific data. The CCTO maintains a current list of active protocols and enrollments for use by disease teams and TCI management and reports on the status of open protocols. In addition, the CCTO coordinates the regulatory management and submission of studies; prepares for external auditing and performs internal auditing and quality assurance for investigator initiated studies; and provides data management and logistics oversight.

The CCTO also supports education and compliance training for medical and non-medical staff to facilitate trial management and efficiency and for training of new staff. Importantly, the CCTO is invested in the continual process of improving trial management and data collection and therefore continues to evolve trial management tools to support the research infrastructure for the investigators and staff.

For faculty on campus, please see our Intranet Page for additional CCTO resources.
