Center for Excellence in Youth Education
Center for Excellence in Youth Education (CEYE), housed in the Center for Multicultural and Community Affairs at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is one of the longest sustaining and well-developed pipeline programs in the nation. Serving over 200 students each year, CEYE’s educational portfolio of science enrichment programs, for grades seven through collegiate level, builds on the existing expertise and infrastructure of the ISMMS to provide underrepresented students with challenging learning experiences. These experiences bolster student preparation and performance in science, language arts, mathematics and technology in a context where they can explore a wide spectrum of careers in medicine, research, nursing and allied health, as well as extend their reach to college and these career fields.
The Center for Excellence in Youth Education will be accepting applications for this year’s summer High School Programs from February 2, 2015, through April 2, 2015. Read more
