The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital

The Cardiovascular Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital is one of the premier cardiovascular training programs globally. Located on Manhattan's Upper East Side, opposite Central Park, our beautiful campus boasts distinguished faculty who work closely with fellows and are actively engaged in both clinical excellence and research. At the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, our mission is to train the next generation of academic leaders in cardiology through a comprehensive educational program that emphasizes both clinical excellence and innovative research.

Our size, expertise, and flexibility allow us to provide personalized mentorship and tailor training to match each fellow's interests and career aspirations. Fellows benefit from regular interaction with thought leaders across all cardiovascular subspecialties. The Mount Sinai Hospital’s rich cardiovascular legacy dates back to its founding in 1853. Today, this tradition of excellence continues through our innovative technology and comprehensive curriculum, which includes regular journal clubs, grand rounds, research methodology seminars, and panel discussions with visiting leaders. As a major referral center for the Mount Sinai Health System's network of hospitals, we offer our fellows exposure to a diverse range of clinical challenges and research opportunities, preparing them for leadership roles in academic cardiology.

How to Apply

The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital participates in the National Residence Matching Program®.  Applications are processed through the Electronic Residency Application Service®(ERAS®). All interviews will be conducted virtually (by Zoom).

We are participating in signaling this year. While we make sure to review applications from those who signal our program, we also consider applicants who do not signal us. We will not consider signaling when making our rank list, as applicants’ preferences can change over the course of interviews.
