Fellowship Program in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Bone Disease

The fellowship training begins with the summer seminar series in July and August, an intense overview of general endocrinology, diabetes, and nutrition. Endocrinology Grand Rounds are attended by members of the division's clinical and scientific staff, fellows, residents, and students on elective in endocrinology. A joint meeting with the Department of Neurosurgery is held on a monthly basis to discuss the diagnosis and management of complicated neuro-endocrine disorders.

Diabetes Conferences are attended by a wide variety of clinicians and researchers with special interest in diabetes. Topics range from clinical to basic molecular and genetic research.

Endocrine Clinic Conferences and Metabolic Conferences cover a broad spectrum of topics in each area. These conferences are specially organized to enhance clinical education of the fellows.

Grand Rounds hosted by the Department of Medicine are also attended by all clinical members of the department and are an essential part of the training of endocrinology fellows.
