Fellowship Training Program in Pediatric Gastroenterology


Teaching is provided by the faculty on daily rounds during procedures, formal lectures, and conferences.

Below is an overview of current lectures:

  • Intestinal Transplantation Pathology Conference
    A multidisciplinary meeting every Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. with participation from Transplant Pathology, Surgery, Medicine, and Pediatrics
  • Pediatric Liver/Liver Transplant Conference
    Wednesday morning - a joint meeting for the liver section
  • Pediatric GI lecture series
    Monday morning -a systematic review of general GI disorders
  • Pathology conferences
    Daily - liver biopsy review
    Tuesday afternoon -small bowel review
    Friday morning -general GI pathology
  • GI Weekly Conference
    Friday morning - Alternating the divisional journal club, divisional research conference, and the divisional case management conference
  • Pediatric Grand Rounds
    Thursday morning - 8:30 A.M.
  • Pediatric GI Grand Rounds
    2nd Wednesday 8:00 A.M., clinical and research topics of broad interest to entire program

Additionally, the fellows are encouraged to attend the adult GI endoscopy conference and the adult GI Grand Rounds every Friday morning, as well as several transplant related conferences.
