The Mount Sinai Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship training program has been ACGME accredited since July 2005. The program admits one resident annually. Trainees must have completed a general psychiatry residency training program and be either licensed in New York State or eligible for a license.

If you are interested in applying for the Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship, please download a copy of the application and submit it along with the following:

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Copy of current medical license
  • Three letters of support (one of which must be from the current training director in general psychiatry) Medical school transcript and dean’s letter
  • Test scores (ECFMG, USMLE)

Your application should also include a personal statement describing your reason for pursuing a career in psychosomatic medicine, your experiences with psychosomatic medicine/consultation-liaison psychiatry, as well as a statement of your career goals.

Applications should be submitted no later than October 1, but we accept applications on a rolling basis and will continue to accept applications for a given academic year until we have filled our fellowship positions. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact us and submit an application as early as possible.
