Fellows are placed onto four 3-month rotations, all at Mount Sinai, alternating between full-time and voluntary staff. Fellows spend one day every other week in the Radiology Department, where (depending on the schedule) fellows have the opportunity to perform diagnostic studies, angioplasties, and chemo-embolizations.

Fellows spend one afternoon every other week in the Vascular Lab. Enough experience in both the intepretation and hands-on performance of non-invasive studies is gained to qualify fellows to sit for competitive exams (e.g., RVT).
