How to Apply
Applications are invited from students who have completed their undergraduate degree with a major in the sciences. Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and some prior independent research experience. The Program admits only students who wish to pursue the Master of Science degree on a full-time basis.
A complete application consists of:
- Online Application form
- College transcript(s)
- GRE and/or MCAT scores
- Three letters of recommendation
- Application fee of $80
Applicants whose native language is not English and who did not complete their undergraduate degree at an institution in the United States will be required to submit the results of the TOEFL exam.
Applications materials are due June 1 for a fall semester start in the program.
International applicants who are applying for an F-1 visa (both reside abroad and currently reside in the U.S.) are urge to submit their application and all supporting documents by April 1 due to the lengthy visa process. Please plan accordingly when applying to the ISMMS, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
Admission is based on the applicant’s academic records, scores on standardized tests (GRE or MCAT), prior educational record, letters of recommendation, and a personal statement regarding past research experience and ultimate career plans.
