Application Process

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai participates in the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) of the Association of American Medical Colleges. Candidates for admission should file their AMCAS application no later than October 15 preceding the year for which admission is sought. Additional information will be requested of all applicants. Applicants with a verified AMCAS application will be contacted by email and directed to a web site where they can complete our online Supplemental Application. Supplemental Applications can be submitted from July 1 through November 15. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai has a rolling admissions process. The earliest date of notification of acceptance is generally November 1. Applicants who have been offered admission to the school must respond within two weeks after receipt of notification. Applications for transfer into the second, third, and fourth year classes are not accepted. Tours are only available for interviewed applicants.
