The Student Experience

At the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, we offer more than just a rigorous, high quality medical education. We offer an environment and support system to help you reach your maximum potential – both as a physician and as a human being.

Our wide variety of student organizations will provide you with countless ways to round out your experiences in the classroom. If you don't see the group you're looking for, you can start it!

The Icahn School of Medicine's Student Government represents students in the School of Medicine and in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Regular meetings with the School's administration afford the Student Government the opportunity to affect change within our institution.

Hear what our students have to say in the Rossi, the quarterly, student-run newsletter and on Macro MD, our student blog.

If you can't find enough on campus to keep you busy, all you have to do is step outside and explore. Your backyard, New York City, is one of the most dynamic and diverse cities in the world.
