Pediatrics Gastroenterology and Hepatology Research

As a Pediatric Gastroenterology fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, you will have access to a number of research resources, laboratories, equipment, and faculty. During the first six months of your fellowship, you will be encouraged to pick a scientific area of interest and a mentor.

The second and third year schedules are designed to allow ample time for research, while maintaining a minimum time for clinical activities. In total, 18 months is spent focusing on research. Fellows are also expected to present academically and submit manuscripts for publication.
