Inaugural Walter Futterweit Lectureship in Reproductive Endocrinology is a Great Success

With help of a donation from Dr. Walter Futterweit, the Division of Endocrinology established the Walter Futterweit Lectureship in Reproductive Endocrinology to honor Dr. Futterweit’s life long seminal contributions to the field and especially to the understanding and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome. The Inaugural Lecture was given on October 20 by Dr. Robert L. Rosenfield, Program Director of Pediatric Endocrine Research Training Program at the University of Chicago. Dr. Rosenfield is a world renowned expert on polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and the title of his talk was “Current Concepts of PCOS”.
