Deiedre Cocks-Eschler,  MD

Dr. Cocks Eschler showed great leadership skills as the chief fellow.  A great team player, ultimate professional, always engaged.  We will miss having her on our team as she will join Endocrine Faculty Staff at Stony Brook to be closer to her family in LI.  She was worked with Dr. Carol Levy on Hepatocyte Growth Factor and Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

Gillian Goddard, MD

Dr. Goddard is always interpersonally engaged and investigates literature to deliver superb patient care. In her 2nd year, she worked with Dr. Levine on Glucocorticoid Receptor Blockade with Mifepristone in Patients with Mild Adrenal Hypercortisolism.  She will be joining private practice in the city and remain affiliated to Mount Sinai as a voluntary faculty.

Arpeta Gupta, MD
MBBS, top 5% of the class at All India Institute, worked on multiple research projects and health awareness programs
Residency at Cleveland Clinic, research on hypothyroid and hyponatremia, created database
Dr. Gupta is bright, hardworking, and enthusiastic.  She is always exhibiting great empathy for her patients with her wonderful bedside manners.  During her 2nd year, she studied with Dr. Eliza Geer on gender differences in the presentation, treatment and outcomes of patients with prolactinomas.  She will join hospital based Endocrine practice with University of Missouri, closer to her husband who is doing GI fellowship there

Hanna Lee, MD

MD at Albert Einstein, during which she spent a dedicated year working in DM research in lab on adipose tissue inflammation, with ADA poster

Dr. Lee is a quiet star, a bright and very promising young endocrinologist.  She is extremely hardworking and always highly professional.  In her second year, she dove in to Dr. Tomer’s translational lab research creating an inducible mouse model of interferon alpha induced thyroiditis.  She is a role model for junior fellows and we look forward to her further growth in translational research as well as our clinical faculty staff at Mount Sinai.
