Welcome to the Mount Sinai MD/PhD Program
Welcome to the MD/PhD program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. You will be joining a rigorous, integrated Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) in Mount Sinai’s Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences that combines clinical education from one of the nation’s leading medical schools with next-generation research in a translational environment. Our MSTP takes a cross-disciplinary approach to address complex biomedical problems, promote collaborations, and expose students to initiatives that bridge science and medicine. Graduates of the Icahn School of Medicine MSTP are uniquely poised to embark upon careers as leaders and independent investigators in the application of basic science discoveries toward clinical care.
