Facilities

Our wet lab includes 4 benches for lab work, and a common area for the storage of samples (Freezers) and centrifuges. Specifically, the lab has expertise in intracellular calcium imaging of live cells. The set up includes a Nikon TE2000-U epifluorescence microscope and fluorescent imaging workstation. This equipment allows us to measure intracellular calcium concentration in vivo as the cells experience altering levels of fluid shear stress.
