The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine has eight full-time, board-certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine Faculty dedicated to the care of children. We have an established ACGME-accredited three-year Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship program. Our annual census is 30,000 with a 10 percent admission rate. The Division is fully integrated within our successful Emergency Medicine Department with strong ties to the Departments of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine. We provide didactic and bedside teaching of pediatric emergency medicine to Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine Residents, as well as fourth-year medical student sub-interns. Within the Pediatric Emergency Division, we have highly successful faculty dedicated to ultrasound, simulation, community outreach, research, and education.
We provide outreach education programs to keep our neighbors informed, healthy, and happy.
Our Pediatric Emergency Ultrasound section is one of the largest subspecialty groups of its kind in the country. Learn more
