The Rheumatology Fellowship is a two-year clinical program that is based entirely at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. Our program consists of three fellowship positions. Fellows in our program encounter a diverse spectrum of Connective Tissue Diseases in our busy in-patient consultation service, which covers 900 beds at The Mount Sinai Hospital.
Our Fellows participate in two clinic sessions in the Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM), where we provide uninterrupted continuity of care to patients with rheumatic diseases.
A unique feature of our Program is its commitment to community service. Our Fellows participate in the Visiting Doctors Program, a program that provides in-home rheumatologic care to homebound patients.
We further enhance the academic experience of our Fellows through bi-weekly divisional conferences and through additional opportunities to participate in clinical research and supervised teaching within the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
