Message from the Director

Welcome to the Rheumatology Fellowship Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.  Our mission is to prepare fellows for careers in academic medicine, by providing individualized training in clinical rheumatology as well as basic and patient-oriented research.  We have a superb clinical facility in the Mount Sinai Health System, with 4 hospitals offering a multidimensional clinical experience.  Our faculty includes a diverse group of outstanding clinicians, scientists and educators, all of whom are dedicated to our fellowship program.  In research, the Department of Medicine has a leadership role in 14 interdisciplinary institutes, with the resources to facilitate innovation and collaborative work.

We welcome you to explore our website and learn more about our program.
