How to Apply

The Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai is fully approved by the CPME of the APMA. We are proud to be members of COTH and we participate in the CASPR process. Mount Sinai is an equal opportunity employer.

The process of resident selection is objective and fair, resulting in the recruitment of the finest, most capable house staff for training. All applicants are given equal consideration without bias toward age, race, religion, gender or sexual preference. Applicants from all Colleges of Podiatric Medicine are encouraged.

All applicants must complete the official Application for Residency form through the Central Application Service for Podiatric Residencies (CASPR)

Interviews are scheduled through the Centralized Regional Interview Program (CRIP) conduct Mount Sinai Hospital of Manhattan will be sponsoring an Open House for all students of the Class of 2014 who are potential applicants to the Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency Programs with added credential for RRA for the 2014-2017 academic years.

We do not offer an externship or clerkship for fourth year students. To determine if this program is the right fit for perspective residents, we sponsor Open House sessions for all prospective residents to allow you to tour the facility, to get answers to questions relating to the program and the application process, and to encourage you to apply to our program.

For further information about these sessions, please email Ms. Arleen Martinez, Podiatry Program Residency Coordinator, at arleen.martinez@mountsinai.org or by phone at: (212)241-3226.
