Description

Course Description

The Mount Sinai Inflammatory Bowel Disease Consultant’s Course will provide an in-depth review of state of the art diagnostic methods, medical and surgical therapeutic approaches, and cancer screening and prevention strategies in IBD. Course faculty will lend their expertise to each of the areas that will be highlighted at the symposium.

Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of the conference, participants will be able to:

  • Identify three different approaches to the management of complicated Crohn’s disease.
  • Identify multiple approaches to the management of severe ulcerative colitis.
  • Identify the strengths and limitations to a medical (as apposed to surgical) approach to patients with intra-abdominal abscesses.

Who Should Attend?

Gastroenterologists, Colorectal Surgeons, Primary Care Physicians, and other health care professionals caring for patients with IBD or colorectal cancer.

Cancellation Policy

A fee of $25.00 will be retained to cover administrative costs for refunds and cancellations. All requests must be confirmed in writing to The Page and William Black Post-Graduate School two weeks before the course begins. No refunds will be made after October 18, 2013 for cancellations and for 'no-shows'.
