Description

Educational Objectives  
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe symptoms of borderline personality disorder and associated dysfunction according to the developmental model central to MBT.
  • Design and implement an appropriate plan for assessment and mentalization-based treatment of patients with severe personality disorders.
  • Improve refractory interpersonal symptoms of borderline personality disorder via psychotherapy focused on fostering mentalizing and reflective functioning.
