Executive Curriculum Committee
The Executive Curriculum Committee is charged with the mission to oversee the current medical school curriculum and to work toward a curriculum that best prepares Mount Sinai students to become quality physicians. Several deans, course directors, and four student representatives meet once a month to discuss important aspects of both the first and second year curriculums and the third and fourth year clinical clerkships including course content, scheduling, and examinations. Course evaluations submitted by students are also discussed at these meetings and voting takes place on proposed changes. The executive curriculum faculty committee members solicit genuine student input. All Executive Curriculum Committee Representatives serve a two-year term. Elections will be held for these positions at the beginning of the first year and at the end of the second year.
