Our team consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed social workers, and dedicated research coordinators, all with specialized training in mood and anxiety disorders. We offer a variety of services, predominantly associated with our research studies. When you participate in a study, we typically offer assessment, diagnosis, and innovative medication and non-medication treatment and brain imaging, as well as the possibility of follow-up treatment and medication consultation after the study is over.
Some members of our team provide a limited amount of non-research clinical services through Mount Sinai’s Faculty Practice Associates. If you seek clinical services, rather than treatment as a part of research, you may better be served by exploring the Mount Sinai Department of Psychiatry’s treatment offerings.
Our assessments, as part of research studies, include:
- Diagnostic psychiatric evaluation
- Neuropsychological testing
- Medical evaluations
Clinical options, also as part of research studies, include novel treatments such as:
- Devices (e.g., transcranial magnetic stimulation)
- Cognitive therapy options
In addition, we provide thorough assessments of your clinical status during study visits. Follow-up clinical treatment may be available after completion of research.
