The facility includes private and semi-private rooms or cubicles including quiet spaces for interviews. Telemetry is available. For participant comfort, we make private televisions available, and there is a communal lounge with a computer and internet access. Child life programming is available, and an interactive fun and educational center for children, “the Zone” is located on the first floor of the building. Cubicles with telephone/computer are available for study staff.
The nursing staff includes Nurse Practitioners (NPs), nurses, and medical technicians who have extensive experience in research-related nursing services. For a detailed description of the available nursing services, visit our Nursing page.
The bionutrition unit includes a dietitian, chef, and diet technician to provide study-specific meals and dietary monitoring. For a detailed description of the available support, visit our Bionutrition page.
Limited support is available for new investigators performing pilot studies. This support, provided in partnership with the host department or institute, may include study subject reimbursement and laboratory tests.
Sample processing and storage
