Resident Housing

Housing options for The Mount Sinai Hospital residents are within the on-campus and block-leased inventory, and are based on a two-category system, including incoming families and incoming singles or couples. Each application will receive a randomly assigned lottery number. To accommodate housing preferences, each applicant must indicate their top ten housing choices. While it is not guaranteed that you will receive one of your top housing choices, it is guaranteed that you will receive a housing offer within the on-campus and block-leased inventory.

Please note that the Housing Application will not be activated until after Match Day in March and will close the first week of April. The specific open date and deadline for newly hired residents to submit a housing application will be provided via an e-mail from the Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
