Students on this committee are charged with reviewing the state of student housing and medical center/housing security. They work closely with the Director of Housing and Associate Dean of Student Services. Recent issues have included: apartment transfers policies, apartment repairs, and rent increases. Members responsibilities are as follows: Senior member (4th year rep or grad student rep, whoever has been on the committee longest): Formulating an agenda the students wish to cover in each meeting; sending out reminder e-mails before each meeting; sending out periodic e-mails to the student body regarding housing issues. Junior members: taking minutes during the meetings, answering housing-related questions from your class, sending out surveys when necessary. Must make an effort to attend every housing and general student council meeting.
