Resources
Whether you're a person with a brain injury, a family member, or a professional, information and connections to information and services are critically important. In this section of the Web site, we list activities that may be of interest to individuals with TBI who live in the New York area. Also, we share publications, postdoctoral training programs, internships, and technical assistance developed at Mount Sinai, as well as provide you with other potentially helpful Web sites.
For individuals who are new to the Internet, helpful tips on moving between sites and within Web sites are provided.
Frequently asked questions about brain injury are answered in the FAQ section.
We have also included discussions of resources that we have created that are available on this website. First, we provide resources on depression after TBI. We also provide resources on hidden TBI, that is, when a person is unaware that challenges he/she faces are likely due to a brain injury – whether relatively recent or long in the past.
