NIDDK Chronic Kidney Disease Biomarker Consortium

The New York Chronic Kidney Disease Biomarker Program establishes a translational program for discovery and qualification of candidate biomarkers for progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Profiles for 20 candidate biomarkers are examined by ELISA in urine samples of members of three large, established cohorts of CKD patients available from the BioMe Biobank and the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) Central Biorepository. The CKD Biomarker Program is federally funded by the National Institute for Diabetes Digestive and Kidney Diseases of the National Institutes of Health.
