Programs and Services Overview

The division has more than 55 full-time faculty members, as well as a dedicated core of voluntary faculty, who share a dedication to outstanding patient care, medical education, and clinical and basic research. Our combined Fellowship Training Program in Hematology/Medical Oncology has been completely overhauled during the past few years to allow our trainees to take full advantage of the wide spectrum of clinical and molecular expertise at Mount Sinai. Our program strives to train a group of outstanding academic hematologists and oncologists who will assume positions of responsibility in other programs around the country. Our missions of outstanding research, education, and patient care overlap significantly as we develop a 21st century model for translational oncology.
