Join us at the Annual Seaver Celebration luncheon taking place on Thursday, October 31st from noon to 2pm at the Roosevelt Hotel in Midtown, Manhattan.
About the Luncheon
The Seaver Celebration is an annual luncheon that commemorates the Seaver Autism Center’s 26 years of the ground-breaking research and advances. The recognition of progress is a catalyst of motivation to advance the field of autism research beyond what is known today to improve the lives affected individuals and deliver treatments.
The luncheon brings together many of the Center’s champions – families, faculty and supporters – to reflect on all we have and will continue to accomplish together.
We will also be presenting a special award to the founding director of the Seaver Autism Center, Kenneth L. Davis, MD.
At a time when there was virtually no research happening for the disorder, Dr. Davis readily accepted the challenge to establish what is known today as the Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment at Mount Sinai. Thanks to the groundwork he laid, the Seaver Autism Center continues to expand knowledge and discoveries to develop better treatments for individuals with autism and related rare genetic disorders.
Be Part of the Progress
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that autism is prevalent in 1 in 59 children. It is hard to find anyone who hasn’t been impacted by the disorder – themselves, or through family members and friends.
Donations are crucial to advance autism research and treatments. Please consider helping us celebrate the progress that we have made by making a gift that builds off this success and provides momentum to develop and deliver treatments for individuals with autism and related disorders.
