Center for Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (C-TIE)
The Center for Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship is directed by Andrew Kasarskis, Co-Director, Icahn Institute for Genomics and Multiscale Biology and Associate Professor, Genetics and Genomics Sciences. C-TIE provides a framework that supports a multi-disciplinary training area in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences devoted to Design, Technology, and Entrepreneurship. cTIE also sponsors technology development across the Mount Sinai faculty through the 4D Technology Development Program and other programs. Finally, C-TIE pursues a research agenda devoted to the economics of innovation with a special interest in public goods.
